Saw my doc again. The higher dose (150 mg) of Lyrica did not last long before the pain came back. He says if the highest dose, 300 mg, doesn't work, there's nothing more he can do for me. There are no other drugs like this.

I told him that getting drunk was the only that eased the pain. That is why he prescribed me Lyrica. It does the same thing: blocks gamma receptors. But it's not working well enough. Hopefully the 300 mg will work. And not destroy my liver. Or kidneys. Or whatever medication goes through.
